Children can still get seriously ill and suffer long-term effects. Additionally, vaccinating children can help prevent them from spreading the virus to others who may be more vulnerable, like the elderly or immunocompromised.

Furthermore, consider the success of mandatory vaccination policies for diseases like measles or polio. These diseases used to cause widespread illness and death until vaccines were mandated. Now, they are nearly eradicated in many countries. Is it not worth considering a similar approach for Covid-19 and the flu to protect public health?

I'm interested in knowing how you would propose managing the public health risks, especially for those who are more vulnerable, without a vaccination mandate.
