Should schools focus on teaching the cultural history and traditions of the country they are in, or provide a more global perspective?

While I think it is very important to know the true, unfiltered history of the country you reside in, I also think it can be beneficial to learn more about global history. I don't think it should be a one or the other scenario as all beneficial education is important, but if I had to choose I would choose to focus on learning more about the country you currently reside in.

A bit of both, yes learning about american culture is important but so is teaching about other countries traditions.
