I think in the modern world a good samaritan would look like cleaning up after yourself, donating if you can, and helping people who are in a tough position.

Because there is no reason for us to trash our world and there is no reason for us to not help someone that is struggling because you could be in the same position one day

Donating food and supplies to homeless, or even helping a buddy whos having a bad day can be examples of being a Good Samaritan.

if you ask me "being a good Samaritan" is someone who treats others in spite of their race and gender identity with kindness someone who doesn't look down on others simply because it is the right thing to do not, because they know that they will get something out of it. Kindness is paramount in this modern world, and we must understand that we will go nowhere unless we treat others with kindness.
I've had some encounters, I think being a good samaritan in modern context would be cleaning up after yourself, throwing away trash from the floor, paying for the person behind you, and of course, being kind to everyone you meet, regardless if they dont show kindness back.
