Could the assurance of knowing who your future leader will be, as with a monarchy, be comforting in an uncertain world?

No, I think that even if we know who is running we won't be able to know what they are going to do so that won't make a difference.

No because it would put the entire fate in one individual who could not be supported by the entire population.

I am against Monarchism to an extant because i feel it is secluded decision making. The idea of one person making most of the decisions is not a way to run a country, i believe in democracy.
