The school dress code would be trashed if it was up to student vote. Most students couldn't care less about what others wear, clothing is about personal comfortability and style. Most students would agree that most rules in the dress codes are dumb, especially those regarding women's clothing. Most students would agree that as long as no one's private areas are exposed, or the clothing isn't pornography, no one cares what people wear.

I would not want a school dress code people should have the right to wear what they want to wear but with restrictions.

I believe that according to where you are and who you are around is how you should dress and that does not mean nothing bad nor is taking your "identity" from you.

Schools dress code for athletes is way different from actual dress code. Female athletes in school can have really short shorts and tight shirts and that is ok but when a student who isn't a athlete wheres shorts that are not finger tip length or if they wear a "revealing" shirt they will get in trouble. So why do schools do that?
