It should be the role of the individual. Not everyone falls under the same religion so the idea that we as a society should follow the norms of one specific religion is weird.

There should always be a separation of church and state, and we should not be promoting behavior by having community leaders enforce using shame.

The federal government should establish no law respecting the establishment of any religion. Therefore the government should not enforce a law simply because of a particular religion, but if it is a good law it should be reasonable apart from Islamic law. The reason should not be to enforce Islamic law but the final decision might be in line with Islamic law. (The same can be true for Christian, Jewish, Hindu, or any other religious law)

Our law system is based on christian and catholic beliefs, keeping it this way can ensure that those morals stay in America.

Sharia Law goes against US law and should never be allowed in this country.
